The Division of Technology will be holding a technology training for the upcoming ACCESS testing for all Site Techs. This will be an in person training held at the PLCC in Mt. Harvard on Monday, Dec. 5 from 1:30 – 3:00 pm.

Please plan on attending if you are a Site Tech or the person at your site who will be supporting the technology side of ACCESS testing. We especially would like to encourage anyone who is new to your role with state testing to attend this in person training.

Check your email for more information if you are the person responsible for supporting state assessment technology at your site. Registration information including the course number in Performance Matters will also be provided.

IT Downtime Maintenance Schedule for the 2022-23 School Year

In order to maintain strong availability (uptime) and minimize IT systems downtime, the Information Technology team requires a preventive maintenance windows to update hardware and software once a month.

These maintenance windows require APS IT systems to be taken offline (aka “powered down”) to install or update hardware and software, such as security patches or software and hardware upgrades.

During a Downtime Maintenance, the following applications and/or systems may be offline:

  • Network Systems
  • Access from district desktop computers (i.e. district drives-V:, W:, U:, T:, etc.)
  • VPN Access from outside the district
  • Internet Access (i.e. the “Web”)
  • Wireless Network or Internet Access from laptops or tablets

Applications, such as:

  • Email-via Gmail and Smartphones
  • Infinite Campus
  • Adobe Connect
  • Enrich
  • Online employment application system
  • Nutrition Services MCS and PCS
  • Transportation fuel database
  • Transfinder bus routing software
  • KeyTrail
  • Oracle
  • Tableau
  • Telephone Services
